ABOUT ME!
Origins
Music has been my emotional outlet and creative escape since 7th grade. I received formal vocal training from music schools and my family, but much of my journey has also been self-guided—exploring my sound by ear and instinct. My work spans into genres like hip hop, R&B, pop, liquid drum & bass, atmospheric hip hop, indie, and acoustic ukulele-vocal blends. While I haven’t yet fused genres in a single track, I constantly explore new sonic textures.
Sound and Style
I’m known for my bright vocal tone and wide range, but I also shift into a deeper, warmer voice when the emotion calls for it. Friends often say my voice “has it in the throat”—pure, raw, and autotune-free. Though I haven’t officially released my music yet, it has definitely resonated deeply with those who’ve heard it.
I often mix languages in my lyrics, blending English, Hindi, and Malayalam to reflect the layered realities I live in. I’m from Kerala, India, and while I don’t feel deeply connected to the region, it naturally flows through my use of language and cultural nuance.
Why I do this
My mission as an artist is simple: make people feel free, loved, and empowered—and sometimes make them pause and think. Through vulnerability and sound, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own voices, too.
Performances & Covers
College Performance
This was a performance for an open mic held at my last college. I sang the song ‘Through The Night’ by Maeta with the help of my friends who accompanied me with the instruments. This song showcase my skills in the rnb/soul genre and range with interesting runs, riffs and notes.
High Idol
I sang the song ‘Blue’ by Sarah Isen at High Spirits in Pune for a singing competition; ‘High Idol’. The genre of this song is pure rnb and it showcases some of my skill on vibratos, runs and riffs.
Laufey – Best friend
Laufey’s “Best Friend” is a heartfelt tribute to her twin sister; Junia, celebrating the warmth and enduring power of platonic love. It evokes a cozy, nostalgic sense of simple happiness.
Best Part- H.E.R
“Best Part” is a timeless love song that captures the simple joy of being with someone who makes life better. Its heartfelt lyrics and the chemistry between Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. make it an unforgettable experience.
Luna-Iniko
The lyrics of this song show a story of transformation, potential, and the limitless possibilities that can exist within one’s soul and mind. It is a beautiful song that reminds us that everything has the potential to transform and evolve.
DAISY-ASHNIKKO
According to Ashnikko, “Daisy” was written from the perspective of the song’s title character, Daisy, a rapist-killing vigilante and dominatrix who wears exclusively latex and platform shoes and leaves behind daisies as a calling card, hence the lyric, “I bite back, daisies on your nightstand”.
Titli
This is a song from one of the Indian famous movies, ‘Chennai Express’. It is a romantic duet that uses the image of a butterfly to describe the feeling of being captivated by someone’s beauty.
